…extraordinary…nothing less. What is extraordinary? It is something that is defined individually by each person. To some, it may mean climbing Mount Everest. To others, it may mean a life where they create a loving, connected family. What extraordinary looks like is up to you. What it feels like is very exhilarating, inspiring and exciting.
What might it be like to live every day where you simply cannot wait to get out of bed? Where you know you will cross paths with amazing opportunities and incredible human beings? What if you got to hang out with those who are masters, creators, full of energy, desire and excitement? What would it take to live this kind of life? …And do you want it?
The beauty of the human experience lies in the unique qualities and gifts each of us bring to it. Not in the familiar, similar and safe…at least, not in my world. I want to stretch, grow, experience and embrace. I want to participate, learn, move, expand and express.
Life simply must be more…every day…more challenges, more opportunities, more information, more experimentation…more reaching for the stars because, frankly, what the hell do we truly have to lose?

I think the answer is to use a quote that is among my mail signatures.
It’s that little bit “extra” that we have or give that makes the ordinary into “extraordinary”.
Go for it!
Your post is extraodinary, you are extrodinary, and your post is extraordinary! I love how you bring these words into your posts and you make one feel so warm and fuzzy inside.
To me, extraordinary means living life to it’s fullest, learning to overcome challenges and enjoying each day as much as possible. One thing I have learned is to be flexible and let life takes its course, right or wrong.
Thanks Tambre,
Cindy
Here’s to the lovely sunshine that inspired this post! Extra ordinary!
Tambre, I like the use of words and I love the picture. We all bring extraordinary things with our uniqueness but unless we live this moment as if it were our last then we can miss so much. Life is for living and giving it your all.
It’s awesome that we all bring something extraordinary into our lives. But it’s too bad that some don’t see their gifts and instead take things for granted. I have to say Tambre you bring something extra to ordinary thinking and I appreciate that!
Wow Tambre. This post is just infused with passion for life. I love that you share the message that your joy, your extraordinary life is yours to create and should have meaning for YOU…not everyone else.
It can be really hard to see our own gifts because they are exactly this..ordinary. At least for us. Being willing to stretch and grow gives us the self awareness that ends up allowing us to live in a mindful and joyful way.
I appreciate you Tambre. Your passion for life is contagious!
How very true… and to be thankful and grateful that we can wake up to these amazing things each and every day.
Hajra…you always make me smile.
I love what you said, Roberta…”Life is for living and giving it your all.” So true!
Thanks, Lynn. Often I find my clients focus on what they haven’t accomplished, where they are stuck or what is in their way until we turn the light on their gifts and contributions. We can help each other by reflecting to those around us the difference they make in our lives and in the world.
Bonnie, thank you for your sweet and kind words. I love being contagious and passionate…and I appreciate how you support others in their growth and discovery of their unique gifts.
Stepping out of bed into grace and thanks is a beautiful way to start each day. Thanks for highlighting this!
