Over the past two months, I’ve spent a lot of time looking at the idea of thriving…and the other side of that coin…surviving. Though surviving mode has a lot of harsh edges to it, neither is good or bad…simply different ways of living your life. Given a choice, who wouldn’t want to thrive?!

Imagine if the pilot of a plane almost made the runway…or a fireman almost put out the fire…or you put almost all the necessary energy into healing from cancer or caring for a loved one with cancer? In my world, almost is never good enough.
