Oprah’s Lesson on Authentic Communication
Most of the time, Oprah speaks from her heart, not her ego. She calls herself and others to live a more compassionate, giving and spiritual life. Check almost any episode and you’ll find her speaking her truth. But none of us is perfect.
There are many contributing factors that occurred behind the scenes, but ultimately the viewer experience for me of her initial interview with James Frey, writer of A Million Little Pieces, was one time where her communication was not authentic. More On The Choices We Make
I had originally written this post on the weekend of New Years and had it scheduled when I heard about the passing of Jessica Joy Reese. So today we’ll take Tuesday’s post one step further and explore more about the topic of choice. It’s a one worth your time because when it comes down to it in life we have our word and we have choice as our two main keys to living in integrity and being empowered.
We all make them. Either by default or through careful consideration. Some are difficult. Some are easy. Every day from the moment we awaken, we are in a continuous state of making decisions:
- what to wear
- what to eat
- what to do
- who to see
- where to go
